BEFORE YOU APPLY

  • Visa is valid only 3 months from the issue date. Your travel must be within the visa validity.
  • Passport must be available for at least 1 month for the Embassy’s 12 working-day processing. In the event that you will need your passport while your application is at the Korean Embassy, it cannot be pulled out for whatever reason.
  • Processing time may be recalculated if additional documents are requested.
  • Print all requirements on A4-size paper, except documents that must be submitted in original.
  • Please do not purchase any travel arrangement prior to the approval of your visa. TGI will not be liable to any visa delay or denial.

Step 2: Submit documents at our office

  • One applicant must be present upon submission.
    • If no applicant can submit personally:
      • Immediate family: No authorization letter required.
      • Extended relatives: Authorization letter, valid ID copy, and proof of relationship required.
  • When to submit:
    • Mondays thru Fridays: 08.30hrs to 12.00hrs and 13.00hrs to 17.00hrs
  • Where to submit:

Step 3: Passport Release and Claim

Please wait for our office to notify you once your application has been processed and your passport is ready for collection. Please bring official receipt of payment when claiming. Pick up time till 5PM only.

If you wish to have your passport claimed by a representative, please ensure that they bring an original authorization letter bearing your original signature.

REMINDERS ON DOCUMENTS TO SUBMIT

  • Application form should be 5 pages.
  • Application form should be typewritten
  • You may refer to the sample form for guidance on how to properly fill out the application form.
  • Forms and all documents that will be printed should be in A4 paper size
  • Photos must be passport size, recent, not used in other visas, showing face and ears, white background and not edited
  • For the required bank certificate amount, we recommend showing your highest available balance, as long as it is accurate and truthful.
  • You must ensure that all submitted documents are legally obtained and authentic.
  • Document falsification may result in prosecution by the Korean Embassy.
  • All submitted documents are non-returnable.
  • The Korean Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents when necessary.
